Eh...What's Up?

        What's up!!!  I've been kinda busy lately but I know it's best to keep you informed. First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!... Second of all, GET BACK TO WORK! lol!.  I've been working my butt off since last fall and now seeing some of the fruits of my labor.  I've been diligently working on my Etsy store Paint and Pleasure and have been stocking my shelves with my new fave  (for now) Wire Art.  Wire Art is my new b!tch! I use 17guage aluminum wire purchased at Lowes and bend it into human figures, animals, accessories...whateva, the possibilities are endless and I can do it while waiting in the carpool lane.
    Another medium I've been gleefully working with is paint chips. Yes, paint chips (no I haven't eaten any) but I've been peeling and saving the dried up paint on my palettes for a couple of years now and finally found a way to use them.  Ive been gluing them together on canvas sort of like a collage and they have been coming out really cute. You can see the cuteness in person at a couple of events I'm participating in this month. (see flyers below)
         First up on the 17th is the Climaxx Show, Atlanta's hottest erotic Art show.  I'll be doing some body painting and will have some of erotic themed pieces for sale as well. Up next at the same location on the 23rd is the These Walls Talk show. I've been waiting months for this one It is a vaginally inspired art show and fundraising event... deep huh lol! I'll be body painting and having works for sale here as well.  My last major Art event for the month and I'm really really looking forward to this one is Reggae Paint Night.  I will be instructing paint class on the 27th at Mangos Caribbean Restaurant in downtown Atl.  There will be reggae music, free food, and good times, at the end of the night I'll sign and give away the painting I instructed with.  It's going to be a good month.  That's all Folks!!!
